3 Months in a Nut-Shell :-)

Wow...how time flies!  Thought I would at least share some pictures from around here before my blogger account gets deleted for lack of using it. :-)

My hardworking hubby vs. the giant felled cottonwood tree!

A Galloway cow named Genny Sue :-)

"Handsome" who is our Jersey cow Rosie's 1/2 Dexter bull calf.

Lola the Dexter heifer.

Obviously, this picture is a couple months old!  What a difference a few weeks can make!
Pretty red buns!

The sheep are feeling festive...

The "cowboys" that we bought for Rosie to adopt!"  They will eventually go in the freezer.  But for now, they are just super cute milk consumers.

We started feeding haylage around the 1st of December.  Everyone loves the stuff and eats it like candy.

This is "Teddy" our first Galloway calf!  Isn't he cute?

We raise some interesting crossbreds up here...this is a Finn-deer. :-)

We've had a couple snow showers so far, but nothing real serious yet!

Our Christmas photo with the farm in the background.

No post is complete without the doggy of course...
...Hank enjoying the snow!

A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from all of us at Harmony Heritage Farm!

  1. Oh how thrilled I was to see your new post!!! I just LOVE all the pictures! Each one is fantastic! The one of Richie is total awesomeness! I'm so glad you captured just how big that tree is! I had no idea! The animals all look soooo good! And you did a fabulous job at catching all their cuteness! (Probably not an easy job with them being moving targets! :-) Teddy is particularly adorable! Well, also the sheep in their holiday accessories! : -) I also love the captions!!! Helps me keep track of everybody! : -) God is soooo good to give us such blessings!
Thanks sooooo much for posting again!
    Love you soooo much,
    Mommy
