Hello!  Here are a few pictures from yesterday :-)

The last couple of days I have been working on some plum leather.  A kind lady gave Richie an entire box full of delicious yellow plums.  It turned out really good!
Who knew that sheep like cayenne pepper plants? :-(

Bo is visiting us for Labor Day.  He brought along his "parents" Aunt Mary and Uncle Harold.
We're going to get to see lots of family this weekend!  It will be busy and fun, I am sure!!!

1 Peter 4:7
"The end of all things is near, therefore, be of sound judgement and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.  Keep fervent in your love for one another because love covers a multitude of sins."

I just finished reading 1 Peter.  What an amazing book, full of truth and great instruction!  I want to try to memorize lots of verses from 1 Peter, so I printed a bunch off, laminated them, and posted them all around the summer kitchen.  Been wanting to do that for a while!  Life on the farm has just been so busy that I have difficulty setting aside enough time to work on memorization.
Of course, the one above the sink is the one that I am practicing the most.  I think I have 1 Peter 4:7 down now!!! ;-)

  1. Thanks for sharing some of that plum fruit leather with us! It is sooo good! I'm so happy for you that you can do such awesome things with the dehydrator! Way to go!

Bad sheep!!! I guess they like spicey foods too?! And at least they pose nicely with their "sweetest" look for pictures!
"Who me? I didn't do it!" (That goes for Lucy and Hank, too!!! ;-)

Love the scenery pics, especially the barn with the blue sky and white clouds in the background! Beautiful!!!

Good job, with posting scripture up around the kitchen! What a great way to memorize certain verses!! We all need good helps like that! Love the idea of having them laminated! Keep it up!! Thanks for the inspiration!
    Love you sooooo much!
