Good ol' Elsie never changes...she's always friendly, always cute, and her pushy attitude always makes me smile :-)

"What's wrong with that finger?"

Despite the fact that I have had very little time lately to go and socialize with the sheep, my little bottle lambs have grown to be much friendlier little gals than they used to be.  All I can figure is Elsie's been training them.

It's a difficult situation when you have 3 sheep pawing you for pettings when you only have 2 hands ;-)

Valerie's last Labrador went to his new home a few days ago.  He was a sweetie!

My poor nasturtiums have suffered under the grow lights in the garage for months.  They look sort of like they went through a terrible drought and then got stepped on by a herd of elephants.
I did notice a few little flowers on one or two of them though :-)

We went to Ike Kinswa park on Saturday and had a great BBQ without plates or utensils to spread the mayo.  Ya gotta love last minute planning.  ;-)
Sunglasses make great knives to spread with.

Timmy has been enjoying is first year of T-ball very much!

No...it can't be...you don't let your children kiss puppies do you?!!!

Hello Everyone!  Just wanted to give y'all an update, and let you know that for the next couple months I probably won't be blogging much...I have my work cut out for me in these next few weeks :-)

Oh where to start.  God has been so good, and I am continually blessed and so thankful for what He is doing!!  The wedding details are really coming together, thanks to the hard work of my whole family, but particularly my mother!  She continues to amaze me!

I've been working on putting together my diploma....hence I've been busy trying to remember/record all of the subjects I've completed during high school, and assign to them a half or whole credit by semester or by year.  There are several subjects besides the standard credit subjects that we wanted to include.  These  subjects would probably be considered "electives" in the public school system...and the hands-on things like gardening and beekeeping and soap making and web building might be considered "Lab." :-)   In the state of WA, you must have at least 20 credit hours to graduate (3, English, 3 Math, 2 Science, 2 1/2 Social Studies, 2 Health, 1 Arts, 1 Occupational, 5 1/2 Electives.)  Since I didn't have a clue what a "Credit Hour" really equalled, my dad and I had to do some research.  Basically, 120 semester hours equals 1 credit hour.

If I'm not careful, that will really. add. up.  :-) :-)

I've started working on the wedding "programs" and have been trying to get Publisher to work for me.  Ugh.  Technology.

I'm also working on putting together our sideshow for the wedding.  I think it's going to be pretty cute.  I got to look through all kinds of adorable pictures of Richie and his family yesterday.  I swear he's one of the cutest little guys I've ever seen :-)

Anyhow, that's the story for now.  I'll post pictures and updates as I'm able, but it won't be all that frequent.  Love you all!

A well-matched couple carry a joyful life between them . . . . . They multiply their joys by sharing them, and lessen their troubles by dividing them: this is fine arithmetic. —Charles H. Spurgeon

Pretty Flowers and Delicious Goodies

De-Geode Bulb Farms are in full bloom right now!

The Rhodie's are in bloom also...you can see bunches of beautiful red blossoms at the Silver Creek post office.

My sisters were busily baking yesterday to prepare for the Spring Youth Fair this weekend.  Yum!

And Benjamin...well...he's been busy keeping us busy :-)
One thing is certain, we're definitely keeping up our flexibility with all of the "containment" gates we have to step over numerous times in a day.

He's getting so big!!!

Some Amazing, Wonderful, Beautiful, Sweet, Thoughtful, Women!

Almost a month ago many of the sweet ladies from our little country church put together the most thoughtful bridal shower for me.  It was a very humbling experience, and reminded me again just how much love these sweet ladies have for the Lord, and for all of his children!

Aprons for Richie and I...signed by all of our dear friends!

Two of my favoritest people!!!!

A couple of sweet faces!

Two more dear friends

This wonderful, talented friend made the delicious and adorable cake!

So many gifts!

I love sweet Mrs. S's funny smile in this picture...the only one who noticed she was being photographed!

Our bubbly pastor's wife made everyone feel so welcome, and she introduced all of my family :-)

We ate some colorful snacks that the women brought!

My aunt Kelley and Cassidy came all the way up to join us!  That was so sweet!

My absolutely adorable little friend came to help me open gifts :-)

Mrs. N lead us in a wonderful devotional, and directed our attention again to the One who deserves all the praise, honor, and glory for creating this incredible institution called marriage!

A Working Day

There's my man out on the tractor.  He's amazing.  I'm so proud of him :-)

Richie likes to play on the dirt.  I like to play in it :-)

And everyone says "aaaawww!"
