Good news!  Richie's back is feeling a lot better now!  He's on a muscle relaxant medication to keep the spams down, but he didn't need to take pain meds yesterday or today.

It's also his birthday!!!!
Happy 28th to my favorite person in the whole wide world!!!!!!

Today he left home early to visit with the guys at work, and then he's going to pick up his pre-chemo anti-nausea medication and get some groceries.  I gave him a list.  He's a good husband to go shopping for me. :-) :-)  Especially on his birthday!

Yesterday we had a great time using our new vacuum sealer for some fruit leathers I've been making with this wonderful dehydrator that Janet has.  It's been a great way to use our fresh fruits and berries to make some healthy tasty snacks for the wintertime.  My favorite is strawberry rhubarb leather!  One of the things we're going to work on once we're done with all of this treatment is our diet.  We'd like to eat more of our own home-grown fruits and especially veggies year round.  It has us both very excited, since it's something we've both wanted to do for a long time anyway!

This is some wonderful fish that Janet prepared a couple days ago.  The Dill and other herbs are fresh from the garden, the lemons are from Richie's lemon tree, and the fish was fresh caught out of the Cowlitz by a friend!  It just doesn't get any better!

"Food please?!"
