Finally, after 3 years of gardening, I am actually mulching my plants.  I always read in books that you're supposed to, but I kind of ignored it.

Then I read a book that said;
"You need to mulch, mulch and mulch some more.  It's all about mulching." 

Using our grass clippings as mulch has saved me hours of weeding amongst the tomato plants already.  And it also keeps the leaves from having any contact with the soil, which translates into less blight issues. 

It also adds nutrients to the soil as it disintegrates. :-)  That's always a plus :-)
