Some good things to know

Do not consume ice-cold drinks with meals.  Drinking cold drinks, even water, can cause fatty foods to congeal in the stomach making them harder to digest.  Sip on room temperature water or herb teas before, during, or after meals.

Liquids are important to activate digestive enzymes, but excess can also dilute them.  Keep liquid intake to under eight ounces per meal.

Avoid eating citrus at meals other than breakfast.  Citrus fruits are digested quicker and are regarded as cleansing foods rather than nourishing foods.

People with stomach problems are often times not producing enough HCI (hydrochloric acid) A simple way to assist the body in producing the proper amount of HCI, is to soak 1 almond for every 10 lbs of your weight in water, and then eat them first thing in the morning.
